仕事内容

As a Cloud Economics Business Development Manager, we will quantify the cost and value benefits of running applications on AWS. Our key role is to create compelling migration business cases ready for board presentation, shape customers' IT financial models, and engage directly with high-level executives, finance leaders, and IT architects to facilitate the adoption of cloud solutions. We will work in close collaboration with AWS sales teams during strategic customer engagements to identify and dismantle economic barriers to cloud adoption, developing strategies that address these challenges.

As an integral member of the Cloud Economics team in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJC) region, our mission includes driving sales engagements in one of AWS's most significant markets. By collaborating with AWS Sales and specialized AWS functions, we will quantify the economic advantages of operating IT applications in the cloud as opposed to traditional data center environments. Acting as a central resource, we will assist sales teams in helping customers develop financial models for their current and anticipated IT infrastructures.

Furthermore, we will craft case studies and examples to disseminate Cloud Economics insights across AWS. Gathering and providing market insights on how customers perceive the economic advantages of using AWS relative to on-premise deployments or traditional data centers is a vital part of our responsibilities. In addition, we will prepare and present compelling business cases to senior leaders, highlighting the value of utilizing AWS cloud services.

Overall, we aim to support customers in identifying and quantifying the value creation opportunities available at each stage of their cloud journey, thereby directly influencing major enterprises in Japan and helping them realize the potential of their cloud investments with AWS.

- Bachelor's degree in any field of study
- 7+ years working with and presenting to senior executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and/or internal stakeholders
- 4+ years of financial modeling experience
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency and Intermediate level English

- **望ましい経験**:
- Advanced degree, or MS degree
- Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud migration patterns
- Experience working with customers on strategic, and complex software or cloud services deals from opportunity through closure
