仕事内容
As a Data Center Construction Manager at Amazon, our primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of hyperscale data center projects in the Greater Kanto region, from the initial feasibility study to the handover to the commissioning team. We are part of a self-performing construction team focused on building advanced infrastructure tailored for Amazon's servers. Key tasks include supporting full-lifecycle project delivery in our assigned areas, where we manage scope, cost, schedule, and quality while working under the guidance of senior Construction Managers.
Our role involves monitoring on-site contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and performing audits, constructability reviews, and commissioning support as required. We are responsible for processing and tracking RFIs, coordinating technical resolutions with design engineers, and compiling and reporting project metrics and risks to the project team and senior leadership. We look for opportunities to reduce costs and compress schedules by developing scopes of work, equipment specifications, and RFPs.
In addition to project management duties, we also coordinate with on-site stakeholders, manage the vendor pool, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance facility resiliency and operational performance. We serve as a day-to-day point of contact for general contractors and design consultants, helping to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Our role requires fluency in Japanese and English to effectively communicate technical concepts with various stakeholders. We bring technical expertise and project management skills to deliver high-quality data center infrastructure within specified timelines and budgets.

| その他 | **応募要件**: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - 3+ years of construction or project management experience - Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, including the ability to communicate technical concepts in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders。 **望ましい経験**: - Experience in a data center or other critical environment - Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations including but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical systems, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, or dampers - Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations that include but are not limited to utility substation feeds, transformers, switchgear, VFI Class UPS, DRUPS, PDUs, ATS, STS, SLA/VRLA batteries and associated systems, diesel/gas turbine generators and related fuel systems, Surge Suppression, Active Harmonic Filtering, battery monitoring systems, branch circuit monitoring systems or SCADA systems |
