仕事内容

As part of our international team in Japan, we are looking for a Strategic Business Development Leader who will focus on managing key strategic partnerships for Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will be responsible for generating, managing, and executing intricate partnerships that have significant impacts on AWS and other Amazon business units. You will closely coordinate with internal teams to identify our strengths and risks, stay updated on innovation trends, and understand customer adoption dynamics. Your primary responsibility is to identify and establish strategic collaborations, particularly for unconventional partnership deals that require centralized advocacy.

You will engage in evaluating, negotiating, and managing partnerships involving elements of marketing, content, commerce, and technology. You are expected to assess the economic and strategic value of these partnerships, leading cross-functional teams across various departments like Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to execute deals.

A critical part of your role will be to leverage your negotiation skills to influence senior leaders, both internally and with external executives. You will be expected to build and maintain a network of relationships that facilitate deal flows. The role demands someone who is self-motivated, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and skilled in strategic and creative problem-solving while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics.

This position requires a deep understanding of the business operations of AWS's largest customers in Japan across various industries and the ability to earn trust with business leaders both domestically and internationally.

その他- **応募要件**: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 10-years experience in technology business development, product management, investment banking, or venture investing experience in a corporate or financial services environment. • End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as large scale marketing deals, complex digital media transactions, and strategic technology relationships. • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment, and quantitative analytics. • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence senior leaders internally, and externally. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability gain respect of senior management, and external executives. • Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow. • Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment. • Bachelor's degree • Must speak fluent Japanese and English.
