仕事内容
As part of our senior leadership team within AWS's Energy & Utilities industry unit, we are focused on driving digital transformation and cloud adoption for Power & Utility customers. Our role emphasizes addressing transformation challenges such as modernization, cybersecurity, and climate initiatives. We are responsible for strategic leadership where we develop and execute market development plans, identify new business opportunities, and cultivate relationships with executives at the CxO/VP level. Our efforts extend to driving industry thought leadership and providing technical guidance.
In addition, collaboration across various functions is vital. We engage with AWS solutions architects, partners, and sales teams, and coordinate activities with marketing, compliance, security, and policy teams to support AWS customer teams effectively. Our role also includes developing cloud solutions, creating technical content and reference architectures, and driving sales initiatives and customer engagements. Participation in industry events and taking on speaking engagements is required to uphold our presence and leadership within the industry.
Our ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills to further AWS's growth in the utility sector while assisting customers in navigating their digital transformation journey. The candidate should have 15+ years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry, a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, strong cross-functional leadership abilities, and excellent communication and public speaking skills. Additional expertise in Operational Technology, strategic thinking, adaptability, innovation, negotiation skills, and a commitment to sustainability are highly valued.
