Job Description
As a member of our AI Solution Consulting team, you will have a significant impact on our future success by supporting the account SC team in driving Now Assist opportunities and collaborating with Autonomous IT & Security, Core Business Suite, and CRM Solution teams. You will guide revenue growth through a strong partnership with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team.
This is a hands-on technical consultant role focused on pre-sales engagements, providing deep expertise in solution positioning and value articulation during sales cycles. The primary mission of this role is to accelerate NNACV growth by shaping and scaling AI go-to-market motions, ensuring customers clearly understand the business impact of Now Assist and related AI capabilities.
Beyond driving customer success, you will enable field teams to confidently position AI solutions across accounts, raising organization-wide AI sales readiness and ensuring consistent messaging in every engagement.
What you get to do in this role:
The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals.
Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues
Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows
Drive NNACV growth through AI sales plays (PoV scoping, demo‑to‑PoV conversion).
Address business and technical problems using our suite of AI products, including considerations of key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, and security
Provide demonstrations of ServiceNow’s AI-powered solutions, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, on-site and via virtual meetings.
Scope and deliver proof-of-concept/value engagements with prospects.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI to ensure the solutions provided are cutting-edge and competitive.
Conduct enablement sessions for field Solution Consultants and Account teams to enhance their understanding and use cases of ServiceNow AI products.
Lead AI sales readiness programs for Japan, including playbooks, demo scripts, and talk tracks.
Deliver enablement sessions and train‑the‑trainer programs for Solution Consultants and Account teams.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring the potential impact of AI on the function or industry.
Technical experience selling AI Models, Deep Learning Models, or Large Language Models with a focus on Generative AI.
7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
Travel, as necessary
Native level Japanese
Business level English
