Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, business, and external partners.Analyze end-to-end data quality operation model.Develop and implement data quality standards and best practicesWork with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flowsGuide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfacesDiscover metadata of the source database, including value patterns and distributions, key candidates, foreign-key candidates, and functional dependenciesDesign logical and physical data modelsCreate design documents including FRDGenerate data quality reports and present findings to stakeholdersJob Description - Grade SpecificExperience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is ideal5-10 years of relevant experience in system development or business system analyst roleExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsDeveloping and delivering training programs.Experience with key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality.Skills:Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.Familiarity with data ingestion and integration processes.Familiarity with data profiling and cleansing techniques.Familiarity with end-to-end data quality operation modelAbility to develop and implement data quality standards and best practices.Experience with regulatory compliance related to data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Strong data project management skills.Good problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to recommend and evaluate new data quality tools and technologies.Language:Japanese: NativeEnglish: Intermediate (preferred)Personality:Detailed and precise, able to drive alone the design and development of complex systemPatient and verbally apt, specific to senior business usersAble to understand non-technical specification and transform to IT requirementsAble to adapt to users’ needs but also assertive enough to navigate complex and demanding continuously growing environmentGood prioritization skills and project management skills.
