職務内容

■Position Overview:

The Functional Consultant will play a key role in supporting new customer acquisition and guiding companies embarking on their PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) journey. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their business needs, translating those into PLM system requirements, and supporting successful implementation and delivery.

■About the Department:

We provide end-to-end PLM and Digital Thread Services.

■Responsibilities:

- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and support the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned with business value.

- Perform requirement analysis and create PLM system requirements specifications.

- Map requirements to product features.

- Lead or participate in delivering Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects.

- Provide input to the implementation team regarding requirements.

- Offer coaching and mentoring to team members as needed.

- Professionally interact and communicate with both customers and internal teams.

- Support the team in defining software and service requirements for project delivery and deal closures.

■Career Path:

As a Functional Consultant, you can work across multiple customers in a similar role. Depending on your interests, you can also explore pre-sales and sales activities, or move into program and project management within delivery.

■Minimum qualifications:

1. Functional Consultant experience in New Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management.

2. Knowledge and understanding of any PLM product (preferably Teamcenter).

3. Ability to map business requirements to product features.

4. At least one end-to-end implementation or transformation experience in any PLM product for a manufacturing or high-tech/electronics customer in Japan.

5. Strong ability to write clear, understandable Requirements Specification documents and Use Cases.

6. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements to understand clients' needs and translate them into data models and platform services.

7. Active participation in designing, developing, implementing PLM solutions, and refining implementations based on client feedback.

8. Flexibility to business travel.

9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and customers, along with effective communication in challenging customer situations.

Languages:

- Japanese: Fluent level

- English: Business level

■ Nice to have skills:

1. Knowledge of PLM products such as Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience, or PTC Windchill.

2. Experience in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Machinery/Heavy Engineering, High Tech, and Electronics.

3. Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

4. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

5. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

待遇

■Employment status

Regular Employee

Manager/Supervisor classification: Nil (Classifiable depending on the case)

Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs

■Salary

Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.

Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY

Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

■Working hours

9:00 - 18:00

(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
