職務内容

■Position Overview:

This role is focused on leading digital transformation projects in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for engineering and manufacturing. As a PLM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for understanding the client's business processes, designing the PLM solution architecture, and collaborating with both local and global teams to ensure successful implementation of the new system. The position requires expertise in PLM systems, such as Teamcenter or 3DExperience, along with a strong ability to communicate in both English and Japanese.

Our team provides end-to-end IT and IoT solutions to assist clients in their engineering and manufacturing digital transformation journeys.

■About the Project:

This project is focused on modernizing the client's PLM system. The customer is currently using a legacy system and seeks to transition to a next-generation PLM system. The main goal is to configure the new PLM system to meet most engineering processes with minimal customization.

■Responsibilities:

1. Understand the functional and technical requirements of the PLM system and document them.

2. Collaborate closely with the customer to define a high-level "To-Be" system view and develop a roadmap for digital transformation.

3. Provide technical solution recommendations based on business requirements.

4. Develop both high-level and low-level design documentation and create proof of concepts (PoC).

5. Work closely with the customer, as well as local and global teams, to ensure clear communication.

6. Support the development team during the implementation process.

■Minimum qualifications:

1. Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.

2. Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, and experience designing solutions in a PLM environment.

3. Functional knowledge of engineering or manufacturing business processes.

4. Experience with global PLM tools such as Teamcenter or 3DExperience.

5. Hands-on experience in PLM consultation and implementation projects.

6. Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes such as Agile or Waterfall.

Languages:

- Japanese: Fluent level

- English: Business level

■ Nice to have skills:

1. Experience in digital engineering or manufacturing consulting.

2. Experience with PLM customization.

3. Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders from multiple regions.

4. Experience in defining and implementing digital transformation strategies.

待遇

■Employment status

Regular Employee

Manager/Supervisor classification: Nil (Classifiable depending on the case)

Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs

■Salary

Monthly salary: Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.

Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY

Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

■Working hours

9:00 - 18:00

(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
