仕事内容
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the digital transformation implementation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. In this client-facing role, you will utilize your strong project management skills, coupled with a deep understanding of engineering and manufacturing business processes, to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality PLM system implementation. Your primary responsibilities will include managing stakeholder communications, defining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), tracking implementation progress, and managing project risks and issues. You will oversee project delivery to ensure it meets quality standards and stays within budget, while also staying informed of new technologies and industry trends.
Additionally, you will provide weekly project status updates to both the customer and internal management and manage the project efforts and costs effectively. As part of your role, you will establish and maintain clear communication channels with various stakeholders and define processes for delivery and quality management. This position offers the opportunity to learn about different technologies and solutions while planning and leading large-scale implementation projects. Career advancement paths include progression to Program Manager and Delivery Lead, with opportunities to learn from both the Japan and global teams.
To be successful, you should have a strong understanding and experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and solid experience in the engineering or manufacturing domain. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English are required. Additional advantageous skills include experience in digital engineering or manufacturing consulting, familiarity with PLM products, basic programming skills, and global experience with stakeholders from various regions.
