■Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect/Cloud Engineer to design and manage innovative cloud solutions for the automotive industry. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build and operate cloud-native environments, contributing to the digital transformation of software development for connected and autonomous vehicles.

■Department Overview:

The department focuses on architecting, developing, and managing cloud-agnostic solutions for the automotive sector. This includes creating cloud environments for software development and validation, integrating seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines. A team of over 10 members will collaborate to establish and maintain these environments.

■About the Project:

This project involves cloud and DevOps tasks in the automotive domain. It aims to design cloud architecture, implement cloud-based automotive solutions, and manage cloud environments for application development. Additionally, it involves setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes for software development and testing.

■Responsibilities:

- Design cloud architecture for automotive data-driven solutions that maintain system quality (consistency, integrity, robustness) and align with the client's strategy using public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies.

- Ensure the designed architecture supports application development, conducting feasibility checks, impact analysis, and risk assessment.

- Integrate cloud services with DevOps, MLOps, GenAI, and data platforms.

- Implement and migrate cloud architecture and solutions using CSP services on AWS.

- Set up, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, applications, and databases.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize performance using CSP services, open-source tools, and custom automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for architecture design, issue resolution, and release management.

- Implement hybrid cloud, auto-scaling, and automated alerts; manage incidents effectively.

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and CodeDeploy.

- Enable communication with legacy applications hosted on GitLab, GenAI, virtual workbenches, and on-prem servers.

- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and ensure secure infrastructure access.

- Document procedures, mentor team members, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Monitor processes and optimize them for resource efficiency throughout the lifecycle.

■Minimum qualifications:

- At least 5yrs of experience in architecting cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on quality, security, cost-control, and optimization.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD setup and management using GitLab, GitHub, CodeCommit, Azure DevOps.

- Automation experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

■ Nice to have skills:

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux OS fundamentals.

- Expertise in designing and deploying microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Kubernetes administration experience, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with ML environments and tools like AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Glue.

- System administration and cloud infrastructure monitoring experience.

- Familiarity with SDV software development in the automotive domain.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.

- Understanding of SDLC, Agile development, and testing procedures in the automotive domain.

- Experience with connected cars and IoT in the automotive industry.

Working hours classification: Deemed working hours system

Category of deemed working hours system: Discretionary labor system for professional work

Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs

■Salary

Annual salary: *will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.

Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY

Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

■Working hours

9:00 - 18:00

(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
