仕事内容
We are seeking an Automotive OTA Engineer to play a key role in the development, validation, and coordination of over-the-air (OTA) software updates for connected vehicles. Our responsibilities include managing requirement analysis and discussions with customers about OTA functionality, ensuring alignment with their needs. We develop comprehensive requirement documents such as use cases, business rules, and both functional and non-functional specifications for our development teams. Collaboration is essential, and we work closely with component design teams and Tier-1 suppliers to ensure the correct implementation of these requirements. Additionally, we handle product and supplier management, documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role also involves managing cloud-based and vehicle component-level requirements, including the breakdown of specifications and the definition of test cases. To validate OTA functionality, we conduct HMI testing, providing a thorough and verified user experience.
Through this position, we gain valuable insights into Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and Connected Mobility, understanding how OTA updates enable hyper-personalization of features for vehicle owners. Our work exposes us to various cloud technologies, secure communication protocols, and technical aspects of the OTA implementation, contributing to our comprehensive understanding of future automotive technologies.
