仕事内容

We are looking for a Data Architect/Data Engineer to join our team to develop cloud-based data platforms for autonomous and connected vehicles. This role is essential for building a scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructure that supports the comprehensive handling of vehicle data, from collection to processing. As the department focuses on cloud-based data platforms, our aim is to construct a strategic cloud-oriented model supported by a team of around 25 engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing cloud and data platform blueprints that account for data flow architecture, solutions, and validation processes. You will convert business needs into technical specifications involving data streams, integrations, transformations, and the design of data lakes and warehouses. You will also leverage machine learning techniques to develop data-driven solutions, applying AI and ML across various data types to identify patterns and build predictive systems.

Furthermore, you will define the architecture necessary to meet customer requirements, establish platform design policies, and analyze infrastructure to implement effective database solutions. Ensuring compliance and automating data management processes are equally critical aspects of this role. Daily tasks include performing ETL activities, data cleaning, validation, dashboard creation, and summarizing insights, ensuring cross-functional collaboration to resolve technical issues and meet quality deliverables on time.

This position offers a unique combination of expertise in automotive, cloud, and data engineering, allowing you to tackle technical challenges in a transformative technological field. You will have the opportunity to engage in applied research, utilize advanced digital technologies, and work on designing innovative, cloud-agnostic solutions. - Annual salary: will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities
- Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY

その他- 応募要件:
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh concepts.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms.
- Experience in data management, ETL pipeline design, Kubernetes, and Docker container implementation.

- 望ましい経験:
- Proficiency in ML modeling, including model selection and fine-tuning using MLflow or cloud services.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Scala, or R, with hands-on experience in Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Erwin, Git, and Bash.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, Hadoop HDFS, MapReduce, CI/CD pipeline development, and handling real-time IoT data.
- Familiarity with data governance, quality processes, and cloud-agnostic solution development.
- Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, .NET, Spring Boot, ERC, Dimensional modeling, and Hive.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile development, and testing methodologies.
- Exposure to the automotive industry, with knowledge of connected cars and IoT systems.
