仕事内容

The Bilingual Vehicle Test Manager is responsible for overseeing comprehensive testing activities for Connected Car Services (CCS). Our primary goal is to ensure CCS reliability before vehicle release by planning, executing, and managing end-to-end testing tasks. This includes coordinating test resources, overseeing test execution, analyzing results, and reporting findings. We offer the opportunity to take full ownership of testing activities and engage with program-level management.

In our department, the end-to-end testing team, composed of three members in Japan and additional testers in other locations, guarantees the reliability of CCS pre-release. We support clients by planning, executing, and reporting on end-to-end testing. Upon receiving the vehicle release plan from clients, we develop and implement the testing process, ensuring all necessary resources are managed and verified.

Our responsibilities include leading vehicle testing activities through resource planning and execution, gathering information on the testing environment, planning test execution, gaining management approval, and reporting results. We also conduct a basic post-testing issue analysis.

This position allows complete ownership over testing activities and exposure to program-level management, including planning and reporting. As Connected Car Services is a dynamic field, there are ample opportunities to develop niche expertise and explore real-world applications in IoT and related domains.

- At least 6 years of experience in testing or test management activities.
- Strong knowledge of Connected Car Services.
- Experience in program management.
- Hands-on issue management experience.
- Proficiency in issue analysis and management.
- Familiarity with Vector CANoe and JIRA/issue management tools.
- Languages:
- Japanese: Business level
- English: Business level

- 望ましい経験:
- Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet communication.
- Experience with various communication protocols such as MQTT, SMS, call-related protocols, 4G, and 5G.
