仕事内容

The Bilingual Telematics Test Manager role involves planning and managing the validation of telematics control unit testing for an automotive OEM. Our responsibilities include creating test plans, tracking milestones, and collaborating with various stakeholders such as clients, testers, and suppliers. This role offers a chance to enhance expertise in test management and gain exposure to senior management within both the client and TCS. We are required to understand issues and plan testing for each software release, create comprehensive test plans to achieve vehicle milestones, maintain continuous communication with clients and testers, ensure follow-ups with the testing team, and provide regular status updates to management. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in testing or test management, a solid understanding of telematics systems, proficiency in testing methodologies, and experience in documentation for test planning. Additionally, strong coordination skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Vector CANoe and JIRA are essential. Japanese and English proficiency at a business level is required, with additional skills in CAN, FOTA, and communication protocols being advantageous.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing or test management activities.
Understanding of telematics systems and their functionalities.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
Experience in documentation for test planning and vehicle milestones.
Strong coordination skills among customers, testers, and suppliers.
Proficiency in preparing documents creatively using Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Vector CANoe and JIRA.
Languages:
Japanese: Business level
English: Business level

- 望ましい経験:
Knowledge of CAN and FOTA.
Experience with various communication protocols such as MQTT, SMS, call-related protocols, 4G, and 5G.
