【About the project】

This is a new opportunity for an AMS project which involves transition and AMS of applications.

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a large-scale Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The candidate will be responsible for application maintenance, incident resolution, enhancement development, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvement of enterprise business applications.

The role involves close collaboration with business users, customer stakeholders, onsite teams in Japan, and offshore delivery teams to ensure stable and efficient application operations.

【Job Description】

・Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based enterprise applications.

・Analyze and resolve production incidents within agreed SLA timelines.

・Perform defect analysis, bug fixing, and application troubleshooting.

・Support release and deployment activities.

・Develop new features and enhancements based on business requirements.

・Prepare technical design and development documentation.

・Conduct coding, unit testing, and integration testing.

・Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

・Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.

・Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.

・Monitor application health and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

・Support service improvement initiatives to improve stability and performance.

【Required Skills】

・4+ years of hands-on Java application development experience.

・Experience in Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) engagements.

・Experience handling production support activities.

・Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

・Experience in incident management, change management, and problem management processes.

・Ability to perform code analysis and troubleshoot complex production issues.

・Experience working with distributed onsite–offshore delivery models.
