仕事内容
In our role as Fastly Senior Cloud Engineers within the Fastly Revenue Organization, we are at the forefront of driving adoption and optimization of the Fastly platform for our customers. Our primary responsibility is to act as a trusted advocate for our customers, helping them understand and utilize technologies such as Edge Computing and CDN architectures. We assist our clients in efficiently migrating their existing workloads to Fastly, ensuring the technology adopted translates into measurable business value.
We forge strong technical relationships with our customers, integrating as an extension of their technical teams. This involves developing a deep understanding of their infrastructure, strategic plans, and the challenges they face. We manage the post-sales implementation of Fastly products, including logging endpoints, image optimization, and VCL coding, while meticulously documenting configurations to facilitate troubleshooting and engagement.
Our problem-solving skills are crucial as we identify challenges and recommend improvements to enhance the implementation and utilization of Fastly’s technology stack. Additionally, we continuously seek out opportunities to introduce new Fastly products that align with our customer’s needs. Internally, we collaborate to devise customer strategies and provide support for any requests or issues that arise.
Regular communication is key, requiring us to participate in periodic customer meetings, which may be conducted on-site or through video/phone calls, including regular cadence calls and Quarterly Business Review meetings. We are also tasked with monitoring and reporting on the health of our customer accounts, providing frequent updates to the leadership within Client Services.
Possessing significant hands-on experience and a broad understanding of networking, scripting languages, cloud-based architectures, and customer-facing roles, we are prepared to tackle issues directly and engage effectively with various stakeholders. Additionally, this role will require us to occasionally travel and maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs outside normal business hours.

| 給与 | 1. Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $122,280 to $172,632. - Additional Information: Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs. |
| 勤務時間 | Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours. There is an occasional requirement for a flexible schedule as necessary based on customer needs. |
