仕事内容

As Enterprise Account Executives, we will be tasked with developing, managing, and executing a Go To Market plan to ensure Fastly meets its growth objectives within our assigned verticals. Our responsibilities will include driving pipeline, sales, revenue, and meeting or exceeding quota goals. We will lead all facets of the sales cycle from prospecting to contract closing, and manage accounts post-sale. Collaborating closely with a Sales Engineer, we will guide prospective customers through demos and trial periods to enhance their understanding and adoption of Fastly solutions.

Additionally, we will be expected to develop a technical understanding of Fastly's offerings, identifying the problems they address for customers, and their positioning within the broader Edge Computing, Security, and DevOps landscape. We will also work in partnership with the account management team to boost customer adoption and satisfaction, and collaborate with other key teams across Fastly, like Client Services, Marketing, and Product teams, to ensure our regional efforts align with overall business objectives.

A key part of our role will involve using CRM tools to enrich Fastly's customer database and provide sales cycle progress reports, while sales prospecting tools will drive outbound activities. We will need to have a successful track record of New Business Development experience, especially in Security sales, with a repertoire of established connections and direct experience in the SaaS PaaS/Cloud Platform sector. Our work will require both independent initiative and collaborative effort within the team, while maintaining high standards of communication and business acumen. The position is based in Tokyo with hybrid working arrangements available.
