仕事内容
At Synopsys, our role involves the development and deployment of Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) recipes, models, and mask synthesis workflows for advanced photolithography processes. We focus on areas such as OPC, assist features, source mask optimization, and lithography verification. An essential part of our work involves scripting automation and tooling using high-level languages like Python and Tcl to streamline workflows, enhance model accuracy, and optimize runtime. We offer hands-on technical support and consulting services to fab customers, addressing troubleshooting issues and providing solutions that align with their processing requirements.
Our responsibilities include delivering customer-specific training sessions on Synopsys mask synthesis tools, guiding engineers through setup, tuning, and the best practices for their respective process nodes. We collaborate closely with customers on joint development projects, co-authoring technical papers for industry conferences and publications to advance computational lithography. Additionally, we work in tandem with Synopsys software R&D and product development teams worldwide to relay customer needs, validate new features, and ensure tool releases satisfy real-world fab requirements. Maintaining regular communication with our customer base, we build trusted technical relationships and proactively anticipate evolving lithography challenges.
To excel in this position, we require a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, along with over three years of hands-on experience in OPC, lithography rule check, or fab lithography processes. Proficiency in scripting and Linux environments is crucial, as is direct experience in mask synthesis areas like OPC recipe development and design rule verification. We value collaborative work with customers to translate their needs into practical solutions and experience working within global teams across different time zones for project management. Fluency in English is critical for effective communication, while Japanese language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
