If you are eager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of semiconductor innovation, we invite you to bring your talents to our team.Summary / Role PurposeJoin the Synopsys S&A Program Management team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, and deploy Ansys part of Synopsys software and solutions in their design workflows. The Program Manager leads the scoping and planning of key programs and successfully executes the program against established commitments. Serves as the central focal point of contact, and coordinates and manages internal and external communication of cross-functional teams across all levels of internal and external customer management. Provides the central collaboration point between Customer, Account Management and Services Delivery.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuide complex Services engagements to successful outcomes using Program Management experience, planning and negotiation skills, subject matter expertise and industry knowledgeWork as an integral member of the Sales and S&A Program Management to progress and secure the consulting business. This will involve working with Sales to develop program management strategiesFacilitate the definition of project scope, goal, requirements, and deliverablesDefine project tasks and resource requirementsDevelop and manage Program level initiatives and coordinating project plansEstablish self as a trusted advisor to multiple customers; understand their key business initiatives, product design needs and engineering design workflows; analyse how to address customers’ requirements using Ansys products and platform, articulate Ansys’ value propositionManage and track project resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple interconnected workstreamsCollaborate with Account Management team and Services team to position next phase / programIdentify and manage project risk, escalate, and interact with internal and customer management for status and issue resolutionProvide senior level guidance and oversight on customers advanced technical solution project planningWork independently within multi-disciplinary teamsProvide leadership on development of PMO Standards and ProcessesMentor junior Program Managers and Project ManagersParticipate in corporate initiatives to further enhance Ansys technology, processes and people skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple projects which are complex in nature, coordinate colleagues across geographically diverse locationsContribute to Pre-Sale, Business Development and Assessment activitiesMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceRequired education and degree type: BS, MS or PhD in engineering and/or business or related fieldRequired minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+12, MS+10, or PhD+7Experience working in engineering / product development environmentProven experience in program management or complex project management with multiple workstreamsProven stakeholder management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead status presentations to customers, fluent in writing and speaking EnglishStrong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgencyProjects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeedStrong leadership and mentoring skillsCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OutlookAbility to travel domestically up to 35% of timePreferred Qualifications and SkillsPreferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+16, MS+14, or PhD+1110 years of experience in Program Management with an enterprise software and technology deployment focusDemonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packagesExperience with both Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologiesAbility to interact effectively with customer senior business managers and C-level executivesAdditional preferred requirements for the specific position being advertisedProject/Program management Certification2-5 years leadership experienceWho You Are: You are self-motivated, with strong communication skill.
