As a Director, Commercial Sales you will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance for Commercial Sales Managers and their direct reports, ultimately furthering the growth of our organization. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You’ll Do:Forecast performance based on team productivityHire, oversee, and train a team of Commercial Sales ManagersFacilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to successDevelop and monitor effective outbound prospecting strategies to increase customer acquisitionEvaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practicesProvide regular and accurate revenue forecasting to your leadership teamCross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goalsWho You Are:Experienced in 6+ years of hi-tech, cycle direct salesAble to accurately forecast team performance Passionate about coaching, mentorship, and team managementProven in overseeing first-line managers in all areas of the sales cycleCustomer-centric with a strong track record of developing satisfied customersSuccessful in working cross-functionally, leveraging strong organizational and time management expertiseDatadog values people from all walks of life.
