仕事内容
As part of our mission to innovate and drive transformative changes in patient lives, we provide comprehensive statistical support for Takeda's preclinical campaigns, focusing on the design and analysis of targets and molecules for various disease areas. We collaborate with scientists in Computational Biology, Pharmacokinetics, and Safety to explore methodologies and implement discovery strategies, fostering data-driven decision-making. Our work employs frequentist, Bayesian, and ML/AI statistical analyses tailored to diverse projects and data types.
We lead and implement Statistical Quality Standards (SQS) strategies, ensuring deliverables through representation of the data science function on project teams, contributing to preclinical studies across our drug discovery units. Our responsibilities include conducting end-to-end data analyses, from hypothesis formulation and experimental design to executing analyses and preparing detailed reports. We actively enhance Takeda’s advanced analytics toolkit, adopting emerging techniques and developing novel analytical tools where necessary.
Our collaboration extends across a matrix environment, engaging various scientific disciplines to address specific program needs related to chemistry, biology, and physical sciences. Working closely with Takeda statisticians, we ensure that statistical considerations are integrated into all data analyses. We communicate any resource or quality issues that might affect deliverables or timelines and escalate them to management as needed. We also respond to statistical regulatory inquiries and elevate Takeda's data science achievements by participating in conferences, publishing work, and fostering external collaborations.
