仕事内容
As part of Takeda's Global Capability Model, we are working to enhance efficiency and standardization across Finance and Procurement processes through the Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) organization. The role of the Japan Delivery Center Lead is crucial in overseeing Japan's finance operations, ensuring the execution of lean, harmonized, and high-quality processes that are aligned with global standards. The position demands a strong combination of operations leadership and strategic business partnering to align Finance Solutions Japan with a global, standardized operating model.
The role involves pioneering the transformation and adoption of standardized global processes and best practices, and significant interaction with the Global Hub in Poland to centralize finance activities. A key responsibility is championing digital transformation initiatives, such as the implementation of SAP S/4HANA in Japan, ensuring readiness, alignment, data integrity, and successful adoption.
As the local TBS Leader, acting as the primary point of contact for Japan's finance leadership, the role requires building strong relationships to ensure TBS services sync with local business needs. This involves working alongside several TBS towers, global, and local teams to drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and the implementation of new tech tools.
Maintaining compliance with Takeda’s policies and regulatory requirements, including IFRS and J-GAAP, is essential. The role involves enhancing the risk and control framework, implementing a robust escalation model, and driving TBS cultural and mindset shifts within the team to foster continuous improvement and global standardization.
Critical to success are strong leadership skills, strategic change management, and the ability to manage and upskill a substantial team while navigating Japanese business culture and corporate etiquette. Familiarity with SAP ERP systems, notably SAP S/4HANA, alongside extensive finance transformation experience in a multinational environment is highly desired.
