仕事内容

As a Principal Biostatistician, we are responsible for leading multiple studies or programs, acting as the primary contact for the sponsor on all biostatistics-related activities. Our role involves providing external statistical consultancy, overseeing the training and mentoring of biostatistics personnel, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work on projects. We direct the activities of biostatistics teams, conduct independent reviews, and support all statistical tasks throughout a project's lifecycle, from protocol development to the Clinical Study Report (CSR).

We prepare and oversee the preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans, collaborate with sponsors, and create or review programming specifications for analysis datasets. Our duties also include reviewing SAS annotated case report forms to ensure protocol criteria are met and contributing to business operations by creating alternative solutions. As the biostatistics representative on project teams, we ensure the study timelines are met by managing scheduling and identifying out-of-scope tasks, providing statistical programming support as needed, and participating in Data Safety Monitoring Board activities.

We maintain project documentation to ensure readiness for inspections and support business development by contributing to proposals and budgets. To excel in this role, proficiency in programming, extensive experience in clinical trials, and excellent communication skills are essential. We are expected to adapt to shifting priorities, manage multiple projects, and actively participate in internal and external meetings to contribute our ideas and respect others' opinions.
