説明We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager for the External Fulfillment (EF) Planning Team within Amazon Japan's Operations Division.EF handles order processing and shipping operations at fulfillment centers operated by 3PL (third party logistics) or vendors, rather than at Amazon Fulfillment Centers. These centers primarily handle large items, heavy items, and temperature-controlled products. EF team contributes to the company's growth by expanding this service, offering a wide product selection with remarkably fast delivery speeds, thereby enriching our customers' shopping experience.This position will be responsible for managing network capacity based on medium to long-term demand forecasts and planning/executing the launch of new logistics centers to support business growth.One of the most rewarding aspects of this position is the opportunity to take a view of the entire business and lead the planning and implementation of new logistics centers and networks with innovative capabilities that will drive Amazon's new business initiatives.For this position that will lead the expansion of the EF business, we welcome applications from individuals with diverse industry backgrounds and experiences.====アマゾンジャパンのオペレーションズ部門のEF（ External Fulfillment）プランニングチーム にて、シニアプログラムマネージャーを募集いたします。EFは、Amazonのお客様が注文された商品の注文処理・配送業務を自社の物流拠点（Amazon Fulfillment Center）ではなく、メーカー/卸売企業や協力会社の運営する物流拠点で行うセンターで、大型品や重量品、温度管理品などを中心に取り扱っています。EFチームは、そのサービスを成長させ、豊富な品揃えと圧倒的な配送スピードを実現し、お客様の購買体験をより豊かにすることで会社の成長に貢献しています。本ポジションは、その役割を果たすべく、中長期的な需要予測を基にネットワークのキャパシティを管理し、ビジネスの成長をサポートする新規物流センターの立上計画を立案、実行することに責任を持ちます。また、ビジネス全体を俯瞰的に捉え、アマゾンの新規ビジネスを牽引する新しい機能を持った物流センターと物流ネットワークの計画作成および実行をリードいただくことができるのは当ポジションのやりがいです。EFビジネスの拡大をリードいただける当ポジションでは、様々な業界や経験をお持ちの方からのご応募をお待ちしております。Key job responsibilities■Planning and Execution of Mid to Long-term Launch Plans for New EF SitesManage medium to long-term demand forecasts and EF site capacity, while creating and executing launch plans for new EF sites to support business growth. At trigger points for implementation decisions (calculated backward from planned launch dates of new EF sites), assess the need for plan modifications based on latest demand forecasts and propose plan changes when necessary.■Proposal and Implementation of Logistics Network SolutionsSensitively identify changes in the business environment, detect logistics-related challenges that could hinder business growth, and propose specific improvement plans and optimal logistics network configurations. Work collaboratively with relevant departments to swiftly implement these proposals. Additionally, plan and execute the launch of specialized logistics centers with unique capabilities to handle new product categories, supporting Amazon's extensive product selection.■Development and Control of Mid to Long-term Cost PlansCreate medium to long-term plans through collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams, as well as through Quarterly Business Reviews and daily communications with contracted 3PL partners. 基本条件- Bachelor's degree, or BS degree- 5+ years of project management (including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management) experience- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written- Intermediate-level Japanese language proficiency- 4+ years of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups experience
