仕事内容

■Position Summary:We are seeking an accomplished cybersecurity leader to serve as Senior Director of Cyber Defense Team East (Japan and Asia Pacific), working with the Vice President of Cyber Defense to reduce cyber risk across Sony’s global enterprise.The Senior Director will lead multidisciplinary Cyber Defense Teams (CDTs) that protect Sony’s information assets, services, and products while maintaining customer trust and privacy. CDT capabilities include security monitoring, incident response, detection engineering, security engineering, vulnerability management, log onboarding, and SOAR playbook development.This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in cyber or IT operations, team leadership, and enterprise resiliency, along with the ability to collaborate across business units.■Key Responsibilities:・Act as the primary decision-maker during major cyber incidents in coordination with enterprise leadership.・Oversee 24x7 global　security operations to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats affecting Sony Group Companies.・Work with Sony Group Companies (SGCs) to design defensive solutions tailored to business needs while reducing cyber risk.・Drive initiatives that improve detection capability, response speed, and operational resilience.・Promote technologies such as AI, SOAR, and EDR to strengthen visibility, detection, and response.・Lead a globally distributed organization and foster operational excellence and continuous learning.・Partner with IT, business operations, risk, and compliance teams to align cyber defense with enterprise security goals.・Represent Sony cyber defense leadership internally and with government and industry partners.

■Required Qualifications:・10+ years of technical leadership experience, including substantial leadership in IT or cyber operations and enterprise-scale environments.・Demonstrated understanding of information technology, cyber security concepts, and cyber security tools. ・Crisis Management and/or Incident Management experience. ・Proven ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.・Understanding and awareness of privacy laws and regulations, and how they affect cyber defense activities.・Demonstrated success leading global teams■Preferred Qualifications:・Demonstrated success leading global SOCs and managing incident response for highly targeted organizations.・Strong understanding of cloud security, endpoint protection, identity management, and threat intelligence integration.・Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).

Business execution ability in English and Japanese is essential (communication, presentation, audio conference, email, document creation, etc.) since this is a global organizational structure and communication with Japanese and overseas members occur as usual.※ご応募の際、英文CVのご提出をお願いします。
