仕事内容
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), our role is centered around ensuring and demonstrating the security of the services we offer, with a specific focus on audit and assurance activities across the Asia-Pacific region. We are responsible for defining and developing comprehensive audit and assurance programs tailored to meet the unique regulatory and compliance requirements of diverse markets across Asia-Pacific. This involves engaging directly with our customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies to understand and communicate how AWS’s security controls meet or exceed global regulatory standards.
Our work requires leveraging a strong foundation in audit principles combined with a diverse background in technology, privacy, and assurance, to deliver complex audit programs. We lead these initiatives by hiring and managing specialized teams, coordinating efforts across different internal and external stakeholders, and driving solutions that are simple yet scalable to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
As part of our responsibilities, we dive deep into understanding our customers’ expectations, explore the Amazon control environment, and elucidate the compliance implications of our security measures. We are tasked with liaising with strategic stakeholders, articulating our control implementations, and addressing the application of security and compliance concepts in a cloud environment. Additionally, we supervise continuous improvements in our security organization, aiming to uphold a robust program management process.
To be effective in this role, you need to have the ability to communicate fluently in both Japanese and English, as we engage directly with Japanese-speaking stakeholders. The ability to demonstrate a solid track record in leadership, influence decision-making, and effectively engage with diverse teams is crucial. We expect the person in this role to adeptly use data to drive necessary changes and improvements, contribute strategically to the AWS assurance programs, and maintain alignment with global information security regulations and policies.
