仕事内容
We are seeking a motivated Health and Safety (H&S) Lead Auditor to join our team at AWS Infrastructure Services, where we design, plan, deliver, and operate global cloud infrastructure. As part of a diverse team, you will work with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to ensure high safety and security standards while maintaining efficient operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include partnering with business support functions to execute H&S audits, managing audit projects from start to finish, and leading a team of internal auditors to assess the effectiveness of our Safety Management Program (SMP) through on-site verifications and self-assessments. You will be responsible for drafting clear and concise audit reports, guiding management on corrective actions, and following up on recommendations. Analyzing audit outcomes, you will identify trends, report key metrics, and suggest improvements for processes and systems.
In this role, you will also facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, including Operations leaders, to ensure audit findings are accepted and corrective actions are mutually agreed upon. Additionally, you will engage with the SMP team, Data Center Health and Safety (DCHS), and HS Legal to continuously enhance our SMP and share best practices for continuous improvement. You will support the design and delivery of training for internal auditors and foster trust with operations partners by understanding the business, identifying emerging risks, and providing education. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel both nationally and internationally (up to 50%).
