仕事内容
As a Tech Training Specialist (DCEO) within AWS Infrastructure Services, our primary responsibility is to create, manage, and deliver comprehensive technical training programs focusing on critical infrastructure systems, such as electrical, mechanical, UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire suppression, to Data Center External Operations teams. We ensure that new hires are equipped with essential skills and knowledge to operate and maintain AWS's mission-critical facility infrastructure effectively.
In terms of training program management, we design and conduct instructor-led courses covering essential infrastructure systems. This includes managing logistics such as scheduling, coordinating classrooms, and utilizing labs, while also conducting practical, hands-on training sessions involving switchgear, generators, cooling systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS). We are tasked with maintaining instructor certifications, observing their performance, and addressing any trainee issues to ensure a smooth learning experience.
For learning lab management, we act as Subject Matter Experts for all critical infrastructure lab equipment and training facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and optimized. We develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment use, simulate real-world scenarios, and support the setup and commissioning of new training labs globally.
In program development and improvement, we collaborate with subject matter experts to refine training materials and content-delivery methods, ensuring they remain relevant with the latest trends in critical infrastructure technology and operations. We also create documentation for systems and emergency protocols, and actively seek feedback from participants and colleagues to enhance program quality continually.
