仕事内容
In our Controls Coordinator role at AWS Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the transactional backbone of controls delivery across the Asia-Pacific region. Your main responsibility will be to manage work orders, change orders, purchase requests, purchase orders, and capital appropriation requests from start to finish, ensuring they adhere to published Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will escalate any exceptions early, attaching recommendations for resolution. Coordination with Controls Engineers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement is crucial to ensuring that engineering decisions translate into committed spend, and you will play a key role in supporting both annual and mid-year operating plans.
Additionally, you will design and maintain run books and process documentation to ensure seamless workflow execution in your absence. Building impactful reporting and automation, potentially utilizing AI tools, will be part of your task to enhance efficiency by eliminating routine manual processes. You will also own the vendor management program for your region, establishing consistent processes and partnering with global counterparts to maintain a smooth operating model.
Your daily activities will include clearing purchase orders, refining automation processes, handling vendor issues, and preparing data for business reviews intended for senior leadership. Testing and contributing to new AI-driven tools will also be part of your role. Your efforts will contribute to forward-moving work, friction reduction, and thorough documentation to aid team members.
As part of the Program Management and Coordination team, which governs planning cycles, goals, business reviews, and mechanisms in the APAC region, you will design processes collaboratively. Working closely with Controls Engineers and collaborating globally, improvements you make will have broad implications across our operation.
