仕事内容
Our AWS Professional Services consultants aim to guide customers in maximizing the benefits of AWS services by delivering IT infrastructure and application architecture guidance. We conduct proof-of-concept projects and assess enterprises’ portfolios to align with AWS best practices. Our role involves onsite technical engagements where we review and perform migrations of existing applications to AWS cloud services and develop new applications, focusing on data-driven solutions across private and public cloud environments.
Our consultants collaborate closely with AWS teams, customers, and partners, using services such as Amazon EC2, S3, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, RDS, EMR, and Amazon Redshift. By participating in pre-sales visits, we understand customer requirements, draft consulting proposals, and craft packaged big data service offerings. We guide organizations in managing non-technical aspects of change, including policy and process adjustments, aiming at seamless adoption of AWS technologies.
Candidates must possess substantial technical expertise and leadership experience, with the ability to develop skills swiftly in a fast-paced environment. They should have a background in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline construction over 7+ years, alongside over 10 years in a technical customer-centric role. Proficiency in SQL, knowledge of AWS services, and open-source data technologies are essential, as is coding ability in Python, Ruby, or Scala. An understanding of modern data architectures, data lakes, and Lambda architectures is also crucial.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline - 7+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines - 10+ years of leadership experience in a technical, customer-facing role in the technology industry - Experience in working with data lakes, modern data architectures, Lambda type architectures - Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL - Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis and RDS. - Experience with Open Source Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.) - Ability to write code in Python, Ruby, Scala or other platform-related Big data technology - Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Strong verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders (Japanese language preferred along with English as second language) - **望ましい経験**: - Industry experience as a Data Engineer or related specialty (e.g., Software Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist) with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets. - Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc) - Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources - Query performance tuning skills using Unix profiling tools and SQL - Experience leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects, including using AWS technologies – Redshift, S3, EC2, Data-pipeline and other big data technologies - Linux/UNIX including to process large data sets. |
