仕事内容
At AWS, we are seeking a Senior Practice Manager to lead our AWS Professional Services business in Japan. The role involves engaging with global clients, particularly Fortune 500 companies, guiding them through transformative projects in IT strategy, distributed architecture, and cloud operations. We focus on building strong customer and partner relationships, influencing global decisions, and driving AWS adoption in key markets. This requires selling consulting engagements, ranging from short on-site proof-of-concept projects to large-scale cloud migrations and platform builds.
The role demands a leader who can coach and teach partners and customers to utilize AWS services effectively. This involves collaboration with AWS Global Accounts sales, training, and support teams. Delivering high-quality, customized engagements with partners and enterprise customers is critical, and the role requires the ability to attract and build high-performing consulting teams with deep technical expertise and excellent customer relationship skills.
As a customer advocate, the Senior Practice Manager will work with AWS engineering teams to incorporate feedback from partners and customers into AWS technology roadmaps. Essential qualifications include a technical and analytical background with over 15 years of technology implementation experience, strategic thinking, consulting practice leadership, and a deep understanding of transitioning to IaaS cloud computing. Additionally, a successful track record in enterprise architecture, familiarity with global compliance and security standards, and international experience with F500 enterprises are crucial for this role.
