仕事内容
At AWS, we are seeking a Practice Manager tasked with leading enterprise customers through transformative projects that involve IT strategy, distributed architecture, and large-scale cloud migrations, among other challenges. The role requires engaging customers to foster strong partnerships and expand AWS adoption within key markets. Coordinating with enterprise sales managers, the Practice Manager will develop robust relationships with both customers and partners to extend business growth in specified geographic territories.
Additionally, this role involves coaching and educating partners and customers in the use of AWS services, such as Amazon EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, and others, by collaborating with fields such as AWS sales, pre-sales, and support teams. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of high-quality customized engagements for both commercial and public sector clients while building and managing top-performing consulting teams characterized by strong technical capabilities and client management skills.
The Practice Manager serves as a customer advocate, working alongside AWS engineering teams by relaying customer and partner feedback to inform AWS technology roadmaps. Candidates should have over ten years of IT implementation experience and a proven record in consulting practice leadership, as well as the ability to manage large teams and P&L responsibilities. Travel to client sites to deliver professional services will be necessary. Proficiency in both Japanese and English, experience in enterprise architecture, and familiarity with IaaS transitions, disaster recovery, and business continuity are critical for this role. The candidate should also possess visible thought leadership within the IT industry and have experience with AWS services in distributed environments utilizing technologies from companies like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and others.
