仕事内容
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, we are responsible for overseeing and supporting the end-to-end flow of materials, parts, and equipment within AWS's logistics network. Our primary tasks include managing daily inbound and outbound activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating with warehouse, transportation, and procurement teams to meet service level commitments. We serve as the main point of contact for logistics operations across multiple sites, managing activities such as shipment scheduling and support, as well as on-site activities including receiving, unpacking, and verifying contents. It is also our duty to uphold workspace standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and safety across all sites.
To ensure seamless operations, we engage in continuous improvement initiatives, performing root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks, recommending process changes, and supporting the rollout of new workflows. Our operational expertise and analytical skills are crucial in driving efficiency gains, reducing waste, and enhancing logistics performance. The role involves occasional travel across clusters to support different sites and requires lifting materials up to 18kg, with the assistance of teammates when necessary.
Our daily work schedule is from 9:00 to 18:00 on business days, primarily conducted on-site in an office or storage room area, with occasional outdoor work for shipment support and exposure to varying weather conditions. On-call duties are shared among team members for after-hours support, and work environments sometimes involve noise levels comparable to industrial-grade fans. We also ensure compliance with safety protocols, such as wearing required PPE, including safety shoes, as needed.
