仕事内容
In this role, we are responsible for independently operating and scaling cloud-based platforms while applying DevOps best practices across production environments. Our tasks include managing cloud infrastructure, particularly utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and others. We emphasize strong infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline design, and programming skills, along with proficiency in GIT, Linux, and SUSE. Incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvements are key components of our work in complex, high-availability environments.
Our responsibilities extend to systems administration, database administration, and maintaining landscapes in globally distributed cloud settings. We apply our understanding of networking, virtualization, internet protocols, and SaaS multitenant application security to enhance system integrity. A degree is not necessary for this role, but building trust, clear communication, customer-centric approaches, and emotional intelligence are crucial.
We take end-to-end ownership of cloud service operations, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability. This involves provisioning, monitoring, and operating cloud services, as well as maintaining system health and scalability. We analyze operational issues, lead incident response, and implement continuous improvements. Additionally, we design, build, and automate processes for service deployment and observability, develop policies for resource allocation and governance, and collaborate with product development teams. We partake in on-call rotations and may require governmental security clearance due to the classified nature of the work.
