Job Description
What you'll bring:
You're an active university student in software development or a related field.
You take forward-thinking, stay curious, and bring strength to meaningful technical work.
Active enrollment in a university degree programme
Knowledge of at least one programming language
A interest to learn and discover — you bring self-starting and persistence to your work
Customer orientation — a awareness of how the software you build connects to real customer needs
A collaborative approach to working in cross-functional, international teams
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required for this role.
We also look for people who communicate clearly, keep the customer in mind, and enjoy finding smart solutions to problems — whatever stage of your career you're at.
In addition to the role-specific skills above, all student and early talent positions at SAP look for candidates who are open to working with AI tools — including agentic AI — to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted ways of working from day one.
What you'll build:
You'll contribute to real product development on SAP's enterprise finance portfolio.
You'll strengthen your programming and product skills through hands-on project work.
Develop features for existing SAP products within SAP's finance portfolio
Build tools that support the analysis of reported software issues
Analyze software issues within products and tools
Create and test source code corrections
Gain cross-functional skills through virtual and in-person learning sessions
Deliver innovations and contribute to product maintenance.
