Job DescriptionAct as a retail process SME translating business needs into S/4HANA Retail requirementsLead fit‑to‑standard workshops across merchandising, pricing, promotions, replenishment, and store operationsDocument to‑be processes, functional gaps, and user stories with clear acceptance criteriaDefine KPI definitions and reporting needs aligned with Data, MDG, and Finance impactsPrepare functional deliverables including process flows, requirements, test scripts, and training materialsSupport SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and business change adoptionStrong stakeholder communication; JP/EN workshop facilitation preferredJob Description - Grade SpecificRequired Qualifications & Experience5–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in retail or consumer-focused transformationsHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail (or SAP Retail / IS-Retail experience with S/4HANA exposure)Strong understanding of end-to-end retail processes and data flowsProven experience running fit-to-standard workshops and documenting to-be processesExperience supporting testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and business readinessLanguage & Communication SkillsNative-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to haveConfidence facilitating workshops and discussions with senior stakeholdersPreferred SkillsExperience working in large, multi-vendor or SI-led programsExposure to data, analytics, or master data governance (MDG) conceptsFamiliarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologiesStrong analytical mindset with attention to detail and qualityCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
