Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering programmes on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires a balance of strong technical depth across GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AI/ML tooling, combined with outstanding delivery management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and to a high standard.Job Description - Grade SpecificKEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn end-to-end technical delivery of GCP cloud programmes, from initiation through to go-live and hypercareLead cross-functional delivery teams including cloud engineers, IAM specialists, GKE administrators, and ML engineersManage programme roadmaps, delivery plans, RAID logs, and stakeholder reporting at executive and working levelsDrive Agile/Scrum delivery ceremonies and ensure engineering squads maintain velocity and qualityProvide technical oversight across GCP workstreams including IAM governance, GKE platform, Vertex AI, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible)Act as escalation point for technical delivery blockers and facilitate resolution with architecture and engineering leadsCoordinate release planning, environment management, and change management processesManage relationships with GCP account teams, third-party vendors, and internal business stakeholdersDefine and track KPIs and SLAs for cloud delivery programmes and platform operationsEmbed DevSecOps practices into delivery teams and champion quality gates throughout the SDLCSupport pre-sales and solution scoping activities, contributing to technical proposals and effort estimationDrive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tooling, and team capabilityREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS6+ years of technology delivery experience, with at least 3 years managing GCP cloud delivery programmesSolid technical background spanning GCP services, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CDDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams of 8+ engineers in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of GCP IAM, security principles, and compliance requirements in cloud delivery contextsExperience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery frameworks and associated tooling (Jira, Confluence)Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesUnderstanding of cloud financial management, cost optimisation, and budgetary governanceFamiliarity with Vertex AI and ML delivery pipelines at an oversight levelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSGoogle Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud DevOps Engineer certificationPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualificationExperience delivering Vertex AI or data platform programmesBackground in managed services, professional services, or systems integrationExperience with FinOps practices and GCP cost management toolingFamiliarity with GKE platform engineering and container delivery patternsCORE SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIESGCP ArchitectureTechnical DeliveryGKE / KubernetesTerraformAnsibleGCP IAMVertex AIAgile / SAFeStakeholder MgmtCI/CD GovernanceFinOpsRisk ManagementCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
