仕事内容
As the Senior Data Security Architect at Fastly, our primary responsibility is to serve as the technical authority in protecting sensitive data across corporate and production systems. We focus on translating data governance requirements into technical controls that integrate directly into the systems handling sensitive data. Collaborating with various departments such as Product, Engineering, Legal, and System Owners, we design and implement tools to enforce data requirements and meet regulatory and customer data obligations.
Key tasks include defining and driving the technical security strategy across key data domains, embedding data security into system design, and ensuring secure implementation of new products and technologies. We identify, implement, and manage enterprise-level tools for data protection, such as data discovery, inventory, and data loss prevention (DLP). Additionally, we work on hardening corporate systems to minimize risk and improving data security posture by assessing emerging threats and technologies.
We are expected to possess extensive experience in security engineering and data protection, with a strong foundation in data architecture and lifecycle security. Our role involves designing and influencing security architecture at scale, requiring excellent communication skills to build consensus across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

| 給与 | 1. Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $181,220.00 to $217,464.00. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs. |
