仕事内容
We focus on providing comprehensive support for desktops, notebooks, and printers, ensuring their optimal operation through routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Our team members are well-versed in standard procedures but also possess the discretion to handle non-routine issues independently. Daily tasks involve performing basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, deployments, and repairs on these devices. We are responsible for identifying potential issues affecting end-user experiences and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, we may offer policy recommendations to management and act as an escalation point for less experienced colleagues. Our role requires responding to calls beyond normal business hours as directed by leadership.
Our primary operating environment is Windows-based, but familiarity with Linux/Unix may be beneficial. A strong foundation in Windows operating systems and solid client service skills are crucial. Possession of an A+ desktop certification or equivalent skill set is necessary, and additional hardware certifications might be advantageous. As our position is onsite, physical capability to handle general office tasks, including moving or lifting items up to 50 pounds, is required. The role may also entail significant domestic travel, occasionally requiring overnight stays.
We require excellent communication skills in Japanese, both written and spoken, while proficiency in English is advantageous. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a high school diploma as a minimum educational requirement; an undergraduate degree or a comparable combination of education and work experience is preferred.
