仕事内容
As a Senior Contracts Manager at Fastly, our primary responsibility is to scale the Contracts Management function, focusing on negotiation, interpretation, and lifecycle management of complex contracts crucial for company growth in revenue and procurement transactions. Operating with autonomy, we will act as principal negotiators for intricate commercial agreements, balancing the quick execution required by the go-to-market teams with precise and detail-oriented legal expertise. We'll use developed strategies to successfully conduct contractual negotiations and adapt Fastly's agreements as guided by playbooks, all with limited supervision.
In this role, we execute and coordinate transactions, managing various projects while working with internal stakeholders and counterparties. We'll leverage our experience in managing commercial contracts, efficiently resolving cross-functional contract issues with minimal direction. Supporting the sales cycle is essential, requiring versatile flexibility to assist a demanding sales team, especially during high-volume periods near month-end and quarter-end.
Moreover, we'll champion contracting technology and AI-enabled management tools to streamline the contract review, redlining, and negotiation processes, helping the team enhance contract throughput without increasing headcount. Risk management is key, requiring precise judgment aligned with the team’s risk and policy frameworks, ensuring all escalations come with recommendations after consultations.
Process rigor and a commitment to continuous improvement are fundamental in maintaining exceptional process adherence, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all dataset and legal approvals across different systems. We will also manage long-term initiatives independently, demonstrating growth in Fastly products, project management, and negotiations. Our work will leverage advanced contract systems, rapidly adapting to new tools and processes to support high-value transaction flows.
We'll need more than five years of complex commercial contract management experience, particularly in high-growth technology environments such as SaaS or AI, and should be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and adept at using advanced contracting systems like Salesforce and AI-assisted negotiation tools. Communication skills are vital for translating legal concepts into actionable business guidance, and a Bachelor's degree is required, with additional qualifications in contract management being an advantage.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: Contracting & Industry Expertise: 5+ years of relevant complex commercial contract management, administration and negotiation experience in SaaS, AI or other high-growth and fast-paced technology environments. Precision & Attention to Detail: Exceptional time management and organizational skills, excellent record-keeping, and a hyper-focus on meticulous detail in handling a high volume of simultaneous, complex transactions with dense legal and commercial terms at velocity. Tech-Forward Contracting & Systems Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience efficiently leveraging Salesforce and other similar CRM platforms, enterprise-grade contract lifecycle management solutions (e.g. Ironclad, Docusign CLM), and AI-assisted negotiation tools such as Claude or Gemini to efficiently scale commercial contracting deal support. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Business Judgment & Enablement: Proven success collaborating cross-functionally, building trusted business relationships with GTM organizations as a business enabler, and maintaining strict discretion when handling sensitive, confidential information. Strong Communication & Synthesis: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate intricate legal and operational concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse internal audiences and teammates.
