仕事内容
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our Enterprise Sales Executives and Major Account Managers across the French region by owning the technical solution throughout the sales process. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting, scoping, architecting solutions, running proof-of-concepts, and evangelizing Fastly products. You will be instrumental in migrating prospects from legacy solutions to our next-generation solutions, addressing issues related to speed, security, visibility, and release processes.
Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous and possesses a strong link between technology and business outcomes. You will help grow our business in France by engaging with large companies, simplifying web delivery architectures, solving application security problems, and enhancing web safety and speed. You will report to the EMEA Sales Engineering Manager based in Canterbury, United Kingdom.
Your role will involve supporting sales and partnerships throughout the opportunity lifecycle, serving as the technical expert on Fastly products. You will work remotely using tools like Slack, Zoom, Jira, and more, keeping your skills current and representing Fastly at events as a technical expert.
We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of experience within internet-centric software and security, preferably with vendor or systems integrator pre-sales experience. Familiarity with web applications, CI/CD pipelines, devops, and cloud computing solutions, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, is desirable.
This remote position is based in Paris, France, and may require occasional travel within the region and to the USA and Europe. Fastly offers a comprehensive benefits package from day one, fostering a positive work environment and considering your life outside work to be important.
