仕事内容
As a Sales Applications Engineer at Altera Semiconductor Technology Japan GK, we serve as a crucial technical support resource for sales activities related to Altera's programmable logic devices, including FPGAs, CPLDs, and SoCs. Our primary responsibilities include closely collaborating with customers to grasp their technical needs and demonstrating Altera's solutions to guide them throughout the sales cycle, ensuring design wins and fostering revenue growth. We provide extensive technical support, covering architectural discussions, performance analysis, and feature explanations across Altera's products.
Our role involves conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and hands-on workshops that highlight the value of Altera's solutions. By understanding customers' system-level requirements, we propose optimal solutions, including device selection, IP integration, and software development flows. We also assist with initial design implementations, troubleshooting, and offering best practice guidance to meet performance, power, and area objectives.
Moreover, we develop and present technical proposals, competitive analyses, and ROI justifications to support sales engagements. Acting as a technical conduit between customers and Altera's engineering and product development teams, we provide valuable customer feedback to inform future product enhancements. We partake in account planning and strategy sessions with the sales team, identifying new opportunities and expediting design wins.
Staying abreast of Altera's product advancements, industry trends, and competitive landscapes is essential, alongside potential domestic and occasional international travel to customer sites and company events. Proficiency in both Japanese and English is crucial, facilitating effective communication across varied audiences and technical discussions.
