仕事内容
We lead the software requirement analysis and definition for customer-specific amplifier features, ensuring that the architecture design aligns with scalability, reusability, and product-line strategy. Our role includes reviewing system and software architecture documents and guiding internal teams to implement these designs effectively. As technical subject matter experts, we focus on in-vehicle LAN communication specifications such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
Our responsibilities extend to customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration, where we drive technical discussions with OEM customers and internal teams to clarify requirements, evaluate feasibility, and propose robust technical solutions. We conduct assessments of amplifier performance and functional feasibility at the concept stage and handle the creation, maintenance, and presentation of customer requirement specifications.
In terms of software development and code quality, we lead and participate in C/C++ coding, peer reviews, and design reviews, adhering to Bose coding standards and software development processes. We guide junior engineers in best practices for coding, debugging, and documentation.
We also plan, execute, and review unit-level and amplifier-level software validation activities. This includes leading vehicle-level integration testing with customers to ensure timely issue identification and resolution. We maintain test procedures, results, and issue-tracking documentation.
For debugging and continuous engineering, we conduct deep-level debugging for amplifier software, performing root-cause analysis of complex issues involving software, hardware, and vehicle interfaces. We carry out detailed software functionality evaluations and lead continuous improvements.
We contribute to software process improvement (SPI) initiatives, promoting higher software quality, enhanced development efficiency, and improved architectural integrity. Additionally, we support the continuous enhancement of Bose's product-line framework for future amplifier programs.
Preferably, we also support project planning, development scheduling, and risk management, leading small-to-mid-scale technical workstreams or software sub-projects.
