仕事内容

At Synopsys, we lead customer engagements across Japan, focusing on deploying digital design methodologies such as synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and power optimization for advanced node designs. Our role involves solving complex technical challenges in collaboration with customer engineering teams by diagnosing bottlenecks in their workflows and tuning tool configurations to meet PPA (power, performance, area) targets. We provide technical training, hands-on guidance on tool usage, methodology best practices, and implement advanced techniques for our customers. Furthermore, we manage and mentor a team of application engineers, ensuring balanced project delivery, technical growth, and superior customer relationship management.

We act as the voice of the customer to Synopsys R&D teams by translating field issues and feature requests into actionable product feedback, influencing tool development. Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with key customers, we align Synopsys solutions with their long-term design challenges and drive the adoption of new capabilities and methodologies across their design teams. Our work enables customers to achieve success on advanced node designs by resolving critical PPA and timing closure challenges, thereby accelerating their productivity and design quality.

Our team shapes how the next generation of chips is built by helping customers adopt methodologies and techniques that define industry best practices. Essential to this role is a deep understanding of digital design and implementation, experience in leading engineering teams, and strong technical communication skills in both Japanese and English. With our expertise, we strengthen customer relationships, positioning Synopsys as a strategic partner, and expand our footprint within accounts by demonstrating measurable value.

その他- **応募要件**: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field15+ years of hands-on experience in digital design and implementation, with deep expertise in synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and power optimizationProven track record leading and managing engineering teams, ideally in a customer-facing applications or solutions engineering contextDirect experience deploying digital implementation tools and methodologies with customers, including troubleshooting complex design issues and driving successful tapeoutsStrong technical communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to explain complex tradeoffs to customer executives and work through detailed technical issues with their engineering teamsExperience with advanced node design challenges (7nm and below) and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for digital implementation is a strong plus
