仕事内容
In this role, we maintain and manage large-scale HPC/AI clusters, ensuring their functionality through robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Our responsibilities include managing Linux job/workload schedulers and utilizing orchestration tools to optimize performance. We actively develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline processes. A key part of our work involves creating tools to automate the deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure environments, operational monitoring, alerting, and enabling self-service resource consumption. We deploy comprehensive monitoring solutions covering servers, network, and storage, ensuring system robustness and quick identification of issues. Troubleshooting is conducted from the hardware layer up through to the application level, addressing any issues that arise effectively.
As a crucial technical resource, we develop, redefine, and document best practices for sharing with internal teams, supporting standardization and knowledge dissemination. Furthermore, we support Research & Development activities, engaging in proofs of concept and points of view presentations for potential improvements and innovative future implementations. With a strong background in networking fundamentals and data center architecture, we effectively manage and optimize HPC clusters. Our expertise extends to container orchestration, particularly in relation to AI/ML workloads, utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, Slurm, and Singularity. Proficiency in Python, bash scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and various storage solutions allows us to ensure smooth operations and effective optimization of our complex systems.

| その他 | - 応募要件: BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields. At least 8 years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture. Knowledge of HPC and AI solution technologies, including CPUs, GPUs, high-speed interconnects, and supporting software. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including container orchestration for AI/ML workloads, resource scheduling, scaling, and integration with HPC environments. Experience in managing and installing HPC clusters, including deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting. Experience with job scheduling workloads and orchestration technologies such as Slurm, Kubernetes, and Singularity. Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux systems (Redhat/CentOS and Ubuntu), including internals, ACLs, OS-level security protections, and common protocols like TCP, DHCP, DNS, etc. Experience with multiple storage solutions, including Lustre, GPFS, ZFS, and XFS. Familiarity with newer and emerging storage technologies is a plus. Proficiency in Python programming and bash scripting. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and automation. Comfortable with automation and configuration management tools, including Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, etc. Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with Japanese-speaking customers. - 望ましい経験: Knowledge of CPU and/or GPU architecture. Knowledge of Kubernetes, container related microservice technologies. Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software (DGX, CUDA). Background with RDMA (InfiniBand or RoCE) fabrics. |
