仕事内容

As a Senior People Business Partner (PBP) at Datadog, we will work closely with business leadership and the People team to support our growing cross-functional team in the Tokyo office. Our primary responsibilities include acting as the regional PBP for all employees in Japan across pre-sales, post-sales, and related go-to-market (GTM) support teams. We will represent our global PBP team to partner on the front line with all employees and leadership in Datadog’s Tokyo office. Our role will involve advising, coaching, and influencing management on various people-related matters such as performance management, career pathing, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.

We will maintain close partnerships with departmental PBPs to address critical needs and manage change, consulting with the relevant People Center of Excellence (COE) for expertise to enhance the employee experience. Our responsibilities include building, advising, and consulting on People policies, guidelines, and programs in collaboration with COE colleagues, providing data-driven analysis and consulting to drive people decisions, and addressing employee development needs with appropriate solutions. Handling complex global employee relations issues and ensuring best practices are implemented will also be part of our duties.

Our role requires a strong background, ideally with 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a related HR role within fast-growing tech companies, and the ability to pivot between high-level strategic program implementation and daily operational needs. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills are critical, as is experience working with first-line and senior leadership across business functions.
