仕事内容
As a Supply Chain Engineer at Intel, we are responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with Intel's expectations for cost, quality, availability, technology, and environmental leadership. Our role involves ensuring supplier process and product readiness by benchmarking industry technologies, conducting root cause analyses, and providing actionable solutions. We work closely with Technology Development and Package Design teams to support technology sourcing initiatives and troubleshoot materials-related issues to facilitate High Volume Manufacturing.
In this role, we analyze supply chain risks, develop alternative sourcing strategies, and manage supplier change controls to ensure continuity and compliance. We are tasked with analyzing supplier cost structures to identify optimization and Value Engineering opportunities while understanding supplier manufacturing processes to support readiness and scalability. Our responsibility also extends to leading quality excursion management efforts, driving Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with suppliers, and applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) expertise to supplier operations.
We evaluate and improve supplier quality systems through audits and continuous improvement initiatives, assess ramp readiness risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Our role involves driving supplier performance improvements by setting control standards and determining key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, we gather and analyze industry and market intelligence for informed sourcing decisions, participate in supplier selection and onboarding processes, manage intellectual property with suppliers, and lead problem-solving initiatives to resolve supply chain issues.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field • 6 or more years of experience in semiconductor assembly material (or related) industry with a Bachelor's degree, 4 or more years with a Master's degree • Has proficiency in English and Japanese, is capable of business-level discussions in both languages. Preferred to have ability to have deep engineering discussions in both languages. - **望ましい経験**: The following qualifications are not required but will be considered a plus in identifying top candidates: • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations • Familiarity with semiconductor assembly and packaging processes and materials, including wafer-level packaging • Expertise in supplier manufacturing operations, quality assurance processes, and risk mitigation strategies • Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead strategic initiatives within supply chain frameworks • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement and operational excellence • Knowledge and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) • Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and business intelligence tools for decision-making |
