仕事内容
As part of our Japan Regulatory Affairs CMC, PDT team, we are responsible for overseeing regulatory CMC development, registration, and post-approval strategies for plasma-derived products throughout their clinical development and commercial lifecycle. We act as representatives in a cross-functional team to ensure the successful execution of global strategies associated with both new product development and lifecycle management of existing portfolios. Our role includes communicating and negotiating with Health Authorities to implement the strategy and plans for assigned products effectively. We build strong relationships with both internal and external colleagues, including Alliance Partners, to address and overcome any challenges that arise during the development and commercialization process.
We manage the entire CMC dossier through development phases, new drug applications, and post-approval variations according to agreed project timelines. Additional responsibilities include overseeing pre-approval GMP compliance inspections and accreditations as well as periodic compliance inspections of foreign manufacturing sites. We work collaboratively with various departments and regulatory authorities to ensure the success of our initiatives. Part of our remit is also to develop strategies to enhance our organizational management, including talent development, resource planning, and maintaining a high-performance environment in anticipation of future drug development and regulatory scenarios.
Our work requires excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, allowing us to foster cooperation and lead initiatives within the organization. Strategic thinking is crucial, as we focus on project impacts that exceed the typical scope of the Japan RA CMC area. We contribute to changes within the organization and drive improvements from a mid- to long-term perspective. Additionally, we handle complex challenges at the departmental level, propose solutions, and implement changes. Our decision-making involves determining project direction, strategies, and resource allocation, all while maintaining collaboration with global counterparts.
