仕事内容
As Equipment Technicians, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment within Texas Instruments' manufacturing facilities. Our tasks include performing preventative maintenance to ensure the continuous operation of systems, repairing equipment to address and resolve mechanical or electrical issues, and implementing improvements or upgrades to enhance equipment performance. Additionally, we handle the installation of new equipment, ensuring that these installations meet operational standards. In collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams across the fabrication plant, we address and resolve issues to ensure efficient and effective operations.
We are tasked with monitoring and analyzing equipment performance data, identifying trends or issues that may require intervention. Part of our role involves coordinating with external suppliers for service and repairs when needed. We also prepare detailed technical reports and summaries that outline our findings and provide recommended solutions to address technical problems.
Our responsibilities demand a combination of technical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities. We are expected to have at least an Associate's degree in a technical field, equivalent military training, or experience as a Technician in a wafer fabrication setting. This role requires self-driven individuals with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Our goal is to ensure minimal equipment downtime and sustained high performance, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of Texas Instruments' manufacturing operations.
