仕事内容
We are seeking an EHS Analyst to join our team at Kawasaki HQ, working under the Director of Engineering for Automotive Japan and ASEAN. The role involves collaborating closely with the EHS management team across regions including China, Japan, ASEAN, and Korea, alongside key functions like operations and engineering. Key responsibilities include ensuring EHS legal compliance, facilitating good communication, coordination, and leadership to enhance EHS performance. This involves engaging with government agencies to secure necessary permits, leading the implementation of the annual EHS plan, and continuously monitoring onsite to identify and rectify EHS risks.
The position requires ensuring the effective implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. We will also focus on Industrial Hygiene management, particularly hearing conservation, and chemical management, with an emphasis on high toxic substances. Pollution prevention, energy conservation, and hazardous waste management are also crucial components of the role. Developing and conducting EHS training programs tailored to the site, maintaining and improving programs like JSA, BBS, and ergonomics are required.
The role includes Emergency and Crisis/BCP Management, entailing regular training and exercises. Other tasks may be assigned by the EHS manager. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment, or Industrial Hygiene, with over five years in a similar role within a multinational manufacturing setting. Familiarity with local EHS laws and regulations, strong leadership, responsibility, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Japanese and English are essential. Travel across the Asia-Pacific region is expected.

Familiar with laws and regulations of local government and administrative bureaus in EHS area Industry experiences in MFG (mechanical, electronics, chemical, etc) Familiar with machine guarding & LOTO requirements and chemical management. Strong leadership, responsibility, and initiative Good communication and coordination ability. Excellent EHS professional knowledge of onsite EHS management Strong communication skill needed with cross-country team Pro-active and fast speed of learning skill Travel expected, especially within Asia-Pacific region Fluent Japanese and English are required, other language such as Chinese/Korean would be good plus |
